The Long Table House starts from a simple insight: many adults want friendship with more depth than networking, small talk, or occasional meetups. The plan centers on a common dining room, game library, beautifully lit tables, and a quiet reading room wrapped by private rooms and suites. Because the project is still at the idea stage, early members can shape the fundamentals: site priorities, governance, common spaces, and the social rhythm that will define the place. Founder Simon Vale brings a practical, human-scale approach to the project and is focused on keeping the place useful, welcoming, and specific rather than polished for its own sake. The goal is not to promise a perfect lifestyle. It is to create a residential setting where ordinary daily life becomes easier, more social, and more intentional.
