How identity verification works
Leaders and community admins
We encourage every leader and community admin to complete an enhanced background check. Seekers can choose to complete one too, as a trust signal to the communities they hope to join.
The enhanced check covers criminal history, global watchlist screening, and additional identity validation.
Private by design
Every community on Coneighbors is private. Seekers apply. Leaders review. Acceptance is a deliberate choice. Your profile is not exposed to strangers. You choose who sees you, and communities choose who joins.
Our commitment to you
- We will never sell your personal data to third parties.
- We will never allow advertisers to target you based on your profile or behavior.
- Your identity verification data is handled exclusively by our verification partner. Coneighbors does not store your ID documents.
